A post and chain barrier kit is a versatile piece of equipment that can prove extremely useful to have around. If an unexpected hazardous situation arises, it can inform people that the affected area is off-limits, or it can be used to guide pedestrians or let people know where they should queue in busy shops or the entrances to bars, clubs and restaurants. This simple, lightweight kit contains either two or six posts with 25 metres of chain and it can be stored away neatly until it is needed.
The chain simply clips on to the support loops on top of the posts, extra chains are available if you need them. With the two-post kit, you can create a simple, small barrier that can be used to fence off broken down equipment or close off doorways. The kit with six posts gives you plenty of different possibilities for encircling objects, creating long curved barriers, or making extensive queueing systems.
With two different colour schemes available, you can use different sets for different purposes. Both are designed with increased visibility in mind, but the black and yellow version is particularly effective as a hazard warning, while the red and white kit is suitable for everyday applications. It can be used indoors and outdoors and its strong construction is lightweight enough that positioning it is no challenge.
Once our post and chain barriers are put into place, they're extremely effective at keeping people away from areas that are unsafe, or where they're not authorised to be.
